How the Avian Alarm Project works
Speranza now has a new Avian Alarm donation board, added with the Riven Tides update on April 28. Players donate the required materials for each stage and the board hands out rewards as you hit the contribution thresholds. There are five stages total and they have to be completed in order — you can't skip ahead to Stage 5.
Progress is mostly individual — your donations count toward your own reward chain. There's also a community-wide contribution counter visible at the board, and a fully-completed server-wide bar unlocks some shared cosmetics, but the meaningful rewards (Dockmaster's Detector, Bird House, Keycard 311) are tied to your personal progress.
The deadline is May 26, 2026. After that, the project closes and unclaimed rewards lock for the rest of the year. So if you want the Bird House attachment or the Detector, get on this.
The hardest materials to farm
Most stages are easy if you're already raiding Riven Tides regularly. A few materials are choke points:
Turbine Compressor (Stage 4)
BottleneckOnly drops from the ARC Turbine boss on Riven Tides. The boss spawns ~15 minutes into a raid and takes coordination to bring down. Shoot the yellow midsection canisters specifically — that's what increases your compressor drop count. Plan a dedicated trio run if you can.
Comet Igniter (Stage 2)
Time-gatedOnly farmable during active Comet events. Best spots: Buried City north of Plaza Rosa, and Dam Battlegrounds Control Tower. Shoot Comets BEFORE they detonate — post-detonation gives you nothing. Check our event timer for live Comet schedules.
Vaporizer Regulator (Stage 3)
Rare dropHigh-tier loot crates only. Stella Montis weapon crates and Riven Tides locked rooms (Hotel 107, 208, 404) are the best spawns. If you're running the keycard chain you'll likely pull one without trying.

Should you bother?
Yes. The Dockmaster's Detector (Stage 1 reward) is one of the most useful tools added with Riven Tides — it pings buried treasure for the Beachcombing activity. The Bird House backpack attachment (Stage 5) is a permanent cosmetic that won't return after this event closes. 250 Raider Tokens is a meaningful currency hit too.
The realistic time commitment is 8–12 raids if you focus farming. Less if you're already running Riven Tides regularly and donate as you go.
