Port Authority Building, Main floor
What's Inside
- Multiple containers and lockers full of admin-style loot
- Document-style loot (high-vendor items)
- Possible blueprint drops
- Electronics and decorations that vendor well
- Turret guarding the entry
The Run
The Port Authority Building is the big rectangular admin block on the north side of the map. Its main floor wraps around in a U shape and the Classified Records room sits at the closed end of the U, behind a turret. The corridor leading to the door is straight and narrow, which is both a blessing (no flanking angles) and a curse (the turret has a clear line on you).
Turret aside, the room itself is dense with containers. Mostly admin-style loot — folders, decorations, electronics, document stacks — which sells well at vendors. Less in-the-moment useful than weapons but excellent gold-per-minute when you're farming for vendor credit. A full clear can pull 30,000+ gold in low-volume but high-density containers.
Pre-fire as you push the door. The turret is mounted high and slightly inside the doorway, so you can usually shoot it from the corridor before it locks on. About six bullets from a Lv.2 weapon will down it. Once it's gone, you have free run of the room for the rest of the raid.
The Port Authority is also where the Secure Storage Keycard gets used (different keycard, different door, same building). If you find both cards in one raid, do Classified Records first — it's the simpler clear and clears the turret threat from the corridor. Then push to Secure Storage.
Best extract from this side of the map: the Port Authority itself has a hatch on the second floor that most players don't know about. Loop up the back stairwell after looting Classified Records and you can extract without crossing the main map again.
Recommended Loadout
Medium loadout — turret needs damage but the room is safe after:
- Lv.2+ weapon (DPS matters for the turret)
- Medium armor
- One smoke for the corridor
- Big backpack — admin loot is bulky
When to Attempt
Best in the 5–12 minute window. The Port Authority gets foot traffic but less than the hotel. Avoid late-raid only if the rest of the map has gone quiet — quiet maps mean campers are watching the obvious extracts and Port Authority is one of them.
Verdict
High vendor value, decent blueprint chance, safe room once the turret is down. Strong second pick after a hotel run.

How do I kill the turret?
Pre-fire from the corridor before pushing the door. About six rounds from any Lv.2 weapon. The turret mounts high — aim for the base, not the visible body.
Where is the Port Authority Building?
North end of Riven Tides. Long rectangular admin block — easy to spot on the minimap. The Classified Records room is at the closed end of the building's U-shaped main floor.
