What's Inside

  • Epic-tier weapon spawn (wardrobe)
  • Crafting materials in volume
  • Chemicals (post-1.26 economy items, high vendor value)
  • Attachments and gear pieces

The Run

This is one of the better epic-tier rooms on the map and people sleep on it because the entrance is awkward — there's a turret inside that catches you in the doorway if you push without prepping. New raiders die to this turret constantly and walk away thinking the room isn't worth it. They're wrong.

Easiest play: throw a smoke at the door, sprint inside hard left or hard right behind the bed, take cover, then take down the turret with whatever you have. The turret takes about half a second to track you, so movement breaks its lock easily. Once it's down, the room is yours and the zipline on Floor 2 gives you a fast extract route.

Loot pool skews toward materials and chemicals — high value for crafting if you're upgrading workshops, but always check the wardrobe before you leave because there's usually an epic weapon hiding inside. The chemicals stack are the highest single-item vendor value here, often pulling 6,000+ gold each.

If you're carrying expensive gear, consider skipping this one. The turret kills more raiders than other players do — even experienced players can take a hit if they push without prepping. Better to come back with a budget kit specifically for this room.

The post-turret window is your best chance to also tag Room 208 if you have the card. They're on the same floor, central, about a thirty-second sprint apart. Combined run can pull 50,000+ gold on a good day.

Recommended Loadout

Bring something to handle the turret quickly:

  • Lv.2+ weapon (any high-DPS option)
  • Two smokes (one for entry, one for backup)
  • Light armor — speed matters more than tankiness
  • Empty backpack — chemicals are heavy but valuable

When to Attempt

Best in the 5–10 minute window once the early rush dies down but before the late-raid extraction camping starts. The turret resets between raids, so first-visit cleared = clear from there on.

Verdict

Great if you know how to handle the turret. Skip if you're new — the room is forgiving once you're in, but the entry kills sloppy players.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I deal with the turret in Room 205?

Throw a smoke at the door, push hard left or right behind the bed, then shoot the turret from cover. Or pre-fire as you enter — it takes about half a second to track you, and movement breaks its lock.

Is 205 better than 208?

208 has more rooms and more total loot. 205 has a higher per-container value but is smaller. If you have to choose, take 208. If you have both cards, do 205 first to clear the turret threat.

What's the chemical worth at vendors?

Single chemical stacks pull 6,000+ vendor gold each. The room often spawns 2–3 stacks, making chemicals the highest single-item value drop in 205.
