Hotel Panorama Azzurro, Floor 4, West wing (penthouse hallway)

What's Inside

  • Penthouse-tier weapon spawns (Lv.3 consistently)
  • High blueprint chance (comparable to 208)
  • Possible Lv.3 epic gear piece
  • Multiple containers in a single large room

The Run

404 is the penthouse keycard. Floor 4 of the hotel is harder to get to, contested by sniper sightlines through the windows, and full of raiders trying to do exactly what you're doing. The room itself is single-room (not a suite like 208) but every container is worth opening — bedroom dresser, walk-in closet, mini-bar, balcony storage.

Loot is excellent. Blueprints drop here at a similar rate to 208 in my experience, and the weapon spawn is often the best gun in the entire raid. I've pulled Aphelion rifles and Burletta SMGs from this room on multiple runs — both highly valued post-1.26.

The smart approach is rooftop-down: figure out the rooftop hatch route, extract once to learn it, and use the same path on subsequent runs. Don't approach from the lobby unless you absolutely have to — the elevators on Floor 4 are camp-magnets.

Watch the balcony. The penthouse balcony connects to the eastern part of Floor 4 via a narrow ledge that experienced raiders use for flanking. If you're solo, glance at the balcony door before you start looting — it's the only blind spot in the room.

If you have the 311 card too, chain them. 311 → 404 saves you a full hotel re-approach and lets you extract through the rooftop hatch when you're done. Combined run pulls 35,000–60,000 gold and you only have to push the stairwell once.

Recommended Loadout

Bring real gear — Floor 4 is contested and the loot justifies the loadout cost:

  • Lv.3 weapon (versatile — you'll need range and CQB)
  • Heavy armor
  • Two smokes (one for stairwell, one for extract)
  • Med kit + extraction insurance (Raider Hatch key if you have one)

When to Attempt

Two windows: first 4 minutes (before snipers set up on rooftops across the map) or last 5 minutes (when most of the lobby has cleared out). The middle of the raid is when Floor 4 is most dangerous because every camping squad is established.

Verdict

One of the top three locked rooms on the map. Always worth the card slot. Chain with 311 if possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How rare is the 404 keycard?

Rarer than the Floor 1 cards. There's no guaranteed source — it's pure scavenge. Carry it if you find it; the room is one of the best loot payoffs in the game.

Best extract from Room 404?

Rooftop hatch on Floor 4. Don't backtrack through the lobby — too many sightlines.

Does 404 drop blueprints?

Yes, at a rate comparable to Room 208. The closet and the dresser are the two most reliable blueprint spawns in this room.
