Beachcombing — ASIA

Beachcombing is a Riven Tides-exclusive map condition introduced with the April 2026 Riven Tides update. During Beachcombing, the tides recede across the Seabed and shoreline, revealing washed-up containers, half-buried supply crates, and rare organic materials that are normally underwater. The condition turns the coastal areas of Riven Tides — which most players treat as transit zones — into the single best looting region on the map for the duration of the event. Expect a mix of bonus loot crates, Moss and Agave nodes, and Red Coral Jewelry spawns that contribute to the Avian Alarm community project.

Strategy & Tips

Drop near the Seabed extraction zones at the start of the raid and work the shoreline clockwise. Most players head inland to Hotel Panorama Azzurro or the Port Authority Building, so the beaches are usually uncontested for the first few minutes. Prioritize the buoy clusters north of the Port Authority — that is where bird traps are placed for the Avian Alarm Stage 1 objective, and the loot density around them is highest during Beachcombing. Bring a larger backpack — washed-up crates contain heavy items like Canister, Industrial Battery, and occasionally Vaporizer Regulator. The condition ends when the tide returns, so do not linger past the halfway mark of the raid.
